Ohio State University Global May Hungary program
A group of Ohio State University students and professors have yet again finished a successful summer school program at METU. Every year since 2013, OSU students and professors come to METU for a month for a summer school which is part of their degree at Ohio State University. OSU has over 100 summer program opportunities and Hungary is one of their top destinations.
During their stay, the students have the opportunity to learn about Central European culture, history and public spaces in their lectures as well as in the trips outside of the classroom. Besides the lectures, the students learn how to live in a metropolitan city and live outside of the USA, not just to visit as a tourist but get to know the day to day lives of the people living in Budapest. Every year the group also visits another Central European country and this year they visited Poland. This year’s program ended with the with PechaKucha presentations.
