METUNEST Hackathon
Hack your future! Think out of the box!
The Hackathon, an all-day brainstorming event was organized jointly with Nestlé, involving students working in teams to solve a business challenge of their choice, while learning the basics of innovative thinking.
Throughout the day, experienced mentors helped with their work (such as Dr. Zsolt Király and Dr. Rita Lukács), who prepared them to create commercially valuable projects, which were then presented to professionals at the end of the competition. During the competition, students could taste the spirit of launching a start-up, from having a business idea to executing it to attracting investors. During the exercise, the contestants learned how to hold a striking pitch and create a good Business Canvas.
At the event, six teams compared their creative thinking, developing ideas and finding solutions across 4 topics.
Students worked on projects of their choice:
- Hack your HR - ALTIUS
- Hack Your Coffee - Parents of Blitz Coffee
- Hack your coffee - Seaweed
- Hack your breakfast - NESTGO vending machine
- Hack your office - CRUNCH
- Hack your office - VR (Virtual Reality)
