My work demonstrates the relationship between my generation and the post-communist council estates. Trapped between concrete walls, the youngsters are just wandering around in the little town with no clear purpose, trying to make their boring lives more bearable. By living amongst the council houses they are doomed to a hopeless life of resignation, believing that’s all they deserve. A desire arises behind their helplessness, a desire to break out of this unbearable environment, but in the end they are still choosing the careless comfort of not taking any action.
