The illustrations for Boris Vian’s Mood Indigo novel are floating in the same surreal world as the mood of the book. The reflecting and transparent surfaces are represented with the mixture of blueprints and mechanical drawings. While the occurring dualities in the book are symbolized by the edited mechanical drawings. Not to mention that these mechanical figures are the metaphors of the parallels between the decadence of nowadays and the book’s world.
