Letter in space
Supervisor
Sándor Rácmolnár
As my diploma work I've made a font type which builds up from linear stripes thus making geometrical shapes. Its rule system associates to the principle of the Penrose triangle and Necker cube. Each of the letters are "faulty", because that keeps the geometrical appearence flat. Taking advantage of the letters' shape I've visualized the letter "A" as a spatial design element forming a chair. I'm introducing this chair in a design magazine so it can get a meaning by using in space.
