Diána Kozák
House of Abraham
In my architectural degree plan I turned a nonworking transformer station in Budapest, Dob Street into a sacral centre. The building’s main component is a lightwell, which goes through in the middle of the building and divides it to two symmetrical parts. One of them is a synagogue, and the other one is a church, also both have a room for study. People of different religions officiate in their own separated place, but they use the rest of the rooms commonly. My goal was to create a place, where accepting and getting to know each other play an important role.
