My thesis process one of the most complex personality from the architecture of the 20th Century: Le Corbusier. Including his research, which was formulated in the “five points” of the new architecture and in the form of Villa Savoye. The concept of the flat/house and home was changing, and where the upper middle class’ need were adapted and embodied in a villa. The effect of the era of new technologies and aesthetic systems become unquestionable, since none of the “five points” could work without ferro-concrete. The summary of his research is emphasised by four composition. Each villa mentioned in my thesis – out of the four – carries one of the “five points” by getting closer to the building in which all “five points” appears. I am convinced that without continuous reformation and the knowledge of previous eras, constant development could not have occurred. Consequently the “five points” of Le Corbusier has a cardinal force which not only affected later years but still relevant today.
