Updates about education during coronavirus

Dear Students, 

Please find important information below regarding the plans of the educational method for the upcoming semester. 


How will be the coming semester (2021-22/1) arranged in this COVID situation?

The latest news and regulations about the educational method from the 13th of September 2021. (Monday)

We would like to inform you that the Budapest Metropolitan University is planning to organize the education on campus with personal attendance during the 2012/2022 autumn semester. However, lectures launched for 100 or more students will be held online via electronic educational platforms. 

The online classes will be organized in blocks for a certain time of the day in order to avoid online and on campus classes alternating several times within a given day.

Please note that the constant changes of the pandemic situation and the governmental measures may have an impact on the University’s plans above, therefore it is important that our students have protection by the vaccination. 

In case you have not taken your COVID-19 vaccine, we encourage you to register, the sooner the better.

Precautionary measures at the University premises

In accordance with the rules and regulations introduced by the Hungarian Government due to the health crisis, the University considers personal safety a priority. Therefore, the Budapest Metropolitan University pays special attention to taking care of the health conditions of its students, lecturers and colleagues. 

In order to protect yourselves and our community, please follow these rules below:

  • The University campuses can only be visited in a healthy condition, free of coronavirus symptoms. Please check the questions of our COVID_Self-Checker before entering the premises of Budapest Metropolitan University.
  • Wearing a face mask is mandatory both indoors and outdoors on the University's territory!
  • Washing and disinfecting hands thoroughly and frequently! Upon entering the buildings, the University provides hand disinfectants, and disinfectant soaps are also available in the bathrooms.

Study period is between 13th September and 10th December 2021

Art Faculty (Art Programme)

Study period is between 13th September and 26th November 2021
