Romani Design
Rácz Zsófia is a third year Bachelor’s student in Craftsmanship BA, Textile Design Specialization. She was an intern at Romani Design, where she mostly worked on pattern designs.
”I think this was a huge opportunity to me, I was really lucky. When I went to Romani Design for my internship I didn’t even imagine i’d get such an amazing task there. I was really inspired and my main task was to combine Hungarian Traditional blue paint motifs with the characteristic rose motifs of the roma culture”
The designers liked her designs so much that it was used in some of the pieces of their collection, so people could see the clothes made with these patterns at the this year’s fashion weeks (e.g. Budapest Central European Fashion Week, Marie Claire Fashion Days).
“It was great to see my patterns worn by the models on the runway. To see how flat designs look on an attire. My professional studies have become tangible. "
We Congratulate Zsófia for her work and wish her success in the future!
