My experience in Budapest has been by far the best experience I have had outside of Zimbabwe and my first year of university was a blast. This university has given me the great opportunity to meet people from different parts of the world and from all walks of like. It is a very modern university with the loveliest administration who made being a first-year student not so stressful.

When I first applied to Metropolitan’s International Business Economics program I wasn’t really sure if it was my right choice for the future and all the information seemed overwhelming at first but after a while, I realized that this university, students & teachers were even better than I’ve could have imagined. The program I am studying covers so many interesting topics, especially when most the teachers has really good first-hand experience on the subjects and on the seminars we have fluent interaction between students and teacher, which makes the studying feel very personal and professional. People I study with are mostly from really various backgrounds and countries which is great! I really enjoy spending time with them on many different occasions such as having a coffee, doing group works, going for sightseeing or going full-time party mode to countless different parties and event what Budapest has to offer. The weather, architecture, castles, baths have and will keep amazing me again and again. I haven’t had a day that I would have the regret of moving to Budapest and starting to study in this great city and I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Metropolitan University in Budapest is a one-of-a-kind wonderful choice to be studying abroad. I am grateful that I had a chance to study in METU. The process to apply to this university was quick when I did the Skype™ (online) interview by the International Officer. It was friendly and of course, I was a bit nervous. Even though it was just via a video call, it was my first time experienced that type of interview. Usually, I will be in a situation of face to face with a HR for an interview. The program that I am taking currently is my second major for Bachelor in Tourism and Catering. As my first degree, I was studying in Mobile Programming. I learned a lot from IT-based. Now, I need to gain my experiences with the business management, financial, economics and accounting. The culture in METU campuses are fresh as the air from the top of a bloom spring hill. New and bold. Full of talented lecturers and students.

Even though I have only been at Budapest Metropolitan University for a year, I have already had one of the best years ever. Not only because I'm living in such a beautiful city filled with history and culture, but because I have felt so welcome in such a different place. At first, like any normal person I was nervous about coming here alone, however from the first open day at the university I felt such a feeling of community, I felt welcomed and so pleased as my anxiety quickly drifted away. The course has also helped me learn more about a field I a determined to work in. My lectures have been very helpful and have guided me through the first year with ease. I have met people from all over the world through my course and through people on the Erasmus programme. I have made some lovely friends who I hope to stay in contact with after my studies. Overall my first year at MET has been a wonderful experience filled with excitement and happiness and I would recommend it to anyone! take the leap of chance you’ll be surprised how much you enjoy it!

I am totally happy to be one of the students of Metropolitan University. I had some doubts before enrolling to this university but everything has changed once I came to the Budapest. The city is amazing, with beautiful architecture and people are very kind and always smiling. Nightlife here is in high level. Before coming I received all information step by step which was very helpful for me. Members of Metropolitan are very helpful and well organized especially Ms. Luibov Konstantinova who helped me a lot to understand how to handle the problems regarding studies. She is very friendly, helpful and she is the person who can assist you whenever you want. Faculty of International Relations is new in this university. But teaching stuff has an excellent and professional experience. Quality of lessons in high level and well organized.
All in all, Metropolitan is a place where you will enjoy studying, meet lots of international and positive people.

I loved welcome weekend so much, it is one of the best sets of METU. As well I enjoyed the Multimedia Application course a lot because the professor is responsible for us instructed with passion instead of teaching only, it's a really great guide. I am enjoying the language course now, it's interesting even though sometimes it can be hard to master. I remember the event "Meet the rector”, it's such a wonderful experience where we talked a lot with career center and also rector. That was a meaningful evening. Marketing course is one of my favorite ones even though I am not good at it. Buti t is truly an interesting course in my mind, and of course very enthusiastic instructor.

For students, METU is located in a multi-cultural city that includes students almost from all over the world. It is considered a vital international environment, which benefits the student in sharing international experiences and cooperation with colleagues in the daily activities.
After the beginning of my studies in the master's program "Management and Leadership", I met a group of outstanding professors and instructors who cooperate with us in a wonderful way in an attempt to convey their experiences to us and to make the educational process interesting and enjoyable by using the latest technological methods and academic means in Europe. As for the Management and Leadership program, it is considered as the best beginning for me in my future career which I intend to work as a projects manager, which is a qualitative leap in my career as an Urban Planner, from the technical stage to the managerial stage and how to operate your own business. We study many useful and basic teaching materials in the field of management (e.g. Innovation and Knowledge Management, Strategic Management and Management and Organization Theories. My studies at the Metropolitan University are an interesting and useful experience and a milestone in my professional life. I would recommend that anyone who wants to learn in a distinguished international learning environment to join Budapest Metropolitan University.
